1. New Starting Time For 2009 will be 5pm.
Drivers meeting will be at 4:30. It is Mandatory that you be registered and
attend drivers meeting. Anyone registering after 5:00 will run E class. Each
driver needs to mark there truck with class and number. For Example. A-I, B-I2
this will help us run our show smoother and faster. We are doing this to keep
from cutting classes or cutting runs. With your help we are trying to run
everything twice. But we reserve the right to change the show due to number of
trucks.
2. No spectators in mud pit area. Absolutely no
passengers, drivers only Seat belt and helmet must be worn while in mud pit,
each truck must pass inspection and have an Ivy Bluff inspection stickers before
entering their class. Once entering the pit, all drivers must stop, put truck in
park or neutral, holding hands up while strap is being hooked & unhooked. Speed
limited 5 mph in parking area.
3. Drivers must be at least 14 years of age.
Picture ID and parents signature are required if younger than 18 years of age.
All drivers must sign waiver, releasing track and sponsors from all
responsibility, and liabilities.
4. You must be prepared and able to run when
your name is called and it is your turn. If you are not prepared or your truck
want start etc .. You will lose your turn and we will go to the next truck. The
show must go on. All runs will begin from a standing start at the starting line.
The first run will be clocked or measured. Whatever the time or measurement is,
stands. The driver must tell the Track Official that shelhe wants to stay with
the time or measurement. The second run is optional. If the driver thinks that
shelhe can make a better time or measurement then shelhe can make the second
run, but you are not forced to. You are only allowed to back up one time. You
must keep forward motion the rest of the time you are in mud pit area, or you
will be disqualified.
5. There are three Track Officials who make all
the decisions at the Ivy Bluff Mud Bog; Joe Duggin, Barry Mitchell and Tech man.
When these three Track Officials make a decision .. .it is final. Regardless of
what these rules may say, or how you may determine them. For example: Tire size
does not qualify you for that class, it is just a guideline. Ifwe find you're
too hot for A or B class, you may be bumped up, regardless of tire size. Diesel
trucks will be allowed to run according to class we put them in. We have the
last say in every situation. We reserve the right to refuse anyone truck or
person from running in the Ivy Bluff Mud Bog due to safety or attitude. So smile
... be nice, and lets all have a good time.
